PHILIP BARANTINI
Philip Barantini is an award-winning BAFTA and BIFA-nominated director who - before pointing at things and nodding from behind the camera (among other directorial gestures) - started his career in 1996 as an actor, appearing in ‘Band of Brothers’(2001), ‘Ned Kelly’ (2003) and surviving the on-screen nuclear apocalypse in ‘Chernobyl’ (2019), amongst others.
After an effortless transition from on-screen talent to behind-the-camera, Philip’s critically acclaimed second directorial feature, ‘Boiling Point’ (2021), for which he was also a co-writer and creator, was nominated for four BAFTAs in 2022, including Outstanding British Film, and received 11 BIFA nominations. Philip was awarded the Breakthrough British Filmmaker at The Big Screen Awards 2022, alongside a further six nominations for Boiling Point which included Best British Film of the Year. He won Best Rock Video at the 2022 UKMVAs for his music video for Sam Fender's ‘Spit of You’.
In April 2023, Philip took on the director’s chair for all five episodes of the gripping ITV thriller series ‘Malpractice’. His most recent cinematic offering, ‘Accused’ (2023), was released on Netflix to excellent critical acclaim.
Ever the multitasker (and wearer or many hats – Deus Ex Machina hats to be precise), Philip was a co-creator and executive producer on the ‘Boiling Point’ (2023) series for BBC with It’s All Made Up Productions and he directed episodes one and two.
SAMANTHA BEDDOE

Not content with just crunching numbers, Samantha took on the role of Executive Producer for the feature film ‘Boiling Point’ (2021) and continued her success by co-producing and collaborating with Philip Barantini on her latest venture, ‘Accused’(2023), which premiered on Netflix.
Currently immersed in developing multiple ongoing projects, Samantha is steering projects like ‘Swim’, a co-production in collaboration with Film4 and Agile Films.
WITH 35 YEARS IN THE INDUSTRY COLLECTIVELY, THEY BOTH WANTED TO BRING TO LIFE ENGAGING, RELATABLE AND UNIQUE STORIES BY COLLABORATING WITH WELL-ESTABLISHED TALENT AND BREAKTHROUGH CONTRIBUTORS

Sam’s journey with It’s All Made Up begins from its very inception and she’s excited to help breathe life into their fantastic slate and collaboratively craft exceptional shows and films that will undoubtedly leave an indelible mark on the world of entertainment.
ADAM BARTON
ASSISTANT DEVELOPMENT PRODUCER
Graduating in 2017 from Sheffield Hallam University in Film Production, Adam worked in videography for a year before taking the plunge and heading to London, finding work experience at Working Title which led to his first official role on Edgar Wright’s Last Night in Soho, an experience a million miles away from his home village in Sheffield.
From here he spent the next four years in Production on various projects for Working Title, Sony and FX. Having written and directed various short projects and stories, the move to development was a no brainer with the opportunity to discover a wealth of voices and stories from as many backgrounds as possible.
With an obsession for cinema and TV, Adam finds it impossible to name his favourite film, with an ever-cycling range of about 30 minimum, the darkened room of a cinema his hallowed ground. A fascination with celluloid also led to him shooting some of his projects on his 16mm camera. In short, film and TV is the best thing to him since sliced bread, maybe even more so as he’s more of a breadcake kinda guy.
HARLEY MATHEWS
ASSISTANT DEVELOPMENT PRODUCER
Harley graduated from FAMU, Prague in 2019 and The Northern Film School, Leeds in 2020 with a degree in filmmaking. While there, he worked on a number of productions, until somehow managing to talk his way into shadowing the director on the set of Carnival Row.
His first run in with the Made Up team came by way of Accused, where his years of honed beverage making skills in and out of productions really came to show.
He was delighted to join the Made Up team in 2023, and is very much looking forward to aiding all of their productions.
LAURA VINCENT
PA/PODCAST PRODUCER
After several years working within marketing for an independent cinema, Laura's love for film was nurtured and expanded through exposure to a wealth of art-house gems.
Following a few escapades in the concrete jungle of New York City and a relocation to London, she was pushed in a new direction when she joined a publicity company. There, she embraced the role of a personal publicist, weaving her promotional magic for both established and rising stars in the acting and directing realms. This unexpected path exposed her to a whole new dimension of the film and TV world that she loved. It was during this time - back in 2020 at a cast and crew screening of ‘Boiling Point’ (2021), held when restrictions were eased - that she met Philip Barantini, and a great friendship was forged.
Fast forward to the beginning of 2022 and Laura began working as Phil’s personal assistant, keeping his perpetually bustling diary and mind as organised as possible, and in 2023 she began producing The Going Rogue Club podcast for It’s All Made Up Productions.
Ask her about her favourite film or genre and you’ll probably get a bemused smile accompanied by a shoulder shrug, though Mrs Doubtfire and anything by Hayao Miyazaki are probably high on the list. Laura’s cinematic heart is a labyrinth of eclectic tastes, and she wouldn’t have it any other way.
